Church of St. Cross from the 9th Century is one of the most valuable monuments of early Croatian church architecture, because its original form it is included among representative monuments of early medieval architecture. Scientist Mladen Pejakovic explained its dimensions and elements in the construction of the building, where he stated that its construction and position are relative to the position of the sun throughout the year.
