Founded by a group of young actors and directors, mostly rebels from the Croatian National Theater, headed by a Dr. Branko Gavella.
Since the nineties Gavella anasmbl has 40-odd actors, amongst whom a significant proportion of the younger generation, which largely shapes the repertoire of the theater. In addition to domestic and foreign classics, Gavella the stage sets and modern domestic pieces.
