CRYPTS AND CATACOMBS, BAKAR
Below the parish church of St. Andrew is the crypt with 85 graves and crypts is divided into two parts. In the upper part of the crypt is pylon which certainly belong to an older building.
The crypt is not sufficiently explored, but will surely its research reveal more information about the construction of the church. The graves are from the 18th and 19 century, and some graves have no records. The crypt is buried and Bishop Wenceslaus Šoić who is most responsible for the restoration of the church in the mid 19th c.
