
FRANJO MARKOVIĆ
Croatian philosopher, writer and founder of the Croatian philosophical heritage research.
Born in Križevci 1845th where he finished elementary school, high school in Zagreb, and classical languages, philosophy and Slavic Studies in Vienna. Already in the 27th year of life he became co-editor with John Dežman, then a little self-editor of the most prominent Croatian literary journal Garland (1872nd to 1873rd). Year 1874. became a full professor at the University of Zagreb and the first dean of the Faculty of Philosophy.
