GYPSI CULTURAL-EDUCATIONAL CENTER, BJELOVAR
The remaining native Croatian - Lovari, due to historical events in the present day are a small minority among the incoming Roma groups that inhabit Croatia in recent years, while the world's total number of Roma, 15 million, Roma Lovari make up the majority of the 13 million.
CULTURAL - EDUCATIONAL CENTER has the following contents:
• A small library (2000 books of the fund which should raise awareness among Roma reading)• Center counseling (advising Roma and state institutions in the direction of better communication and improve the quality of life of Roma, especially children and women)
• Education Centre (implementation and monitoring of programs under the National Programme for the Roma RH, presentations Roma culture of the Roma and non-Roma from the Croatian and the world, holding cultural events, publishing)
• Permanent exhibition of indigenous ethno-Croatian Roma-Lovari (in December 2004., Opened with part exhibition, entitled "Documentary and historical exhibition of authentic Croatian Roma Lovari")
