
HERITAGE MUSEUM OGULIN
In frakopan citadel housed the Regional Museum of Ogulin a few rich museum collections.
In the ethnographic department of the objects stand out from traditional culture Ogulin. The objects from the Roman era and Japodic, were found at sites Ogulin. Here you can find various objects from the distant past, but also items that could still be in use. In the archaeological section up, the visitor will find content from the old past time Prehistory and antiquity.
From arheloškog materials are Japodska and Roman artefacts found in the broader area Ogulin. Roman cavalry on display at the Museum star is over 1,800 years old.
The museum is arranged and a memorial room known Croatian writer Ivana Brlić Mažuranić. This act Ogulin tribute to her for all the wonderful works that have emerged from her pen. As a special collection, the museum is decorated alpine setup with material about mountaineering and alpinism in Croatia.
