
ILOK MUNICIPAL MUSEUM
Museum that preserves and follows rich traces of continuous Syrmia and Ilok centuries.
Established 1952. a regional museum that is kept and monitored dense and rich traces of continuous Syrmia and Ilok through the centuries about which is evidenced by numerous archaeological finds from the prehistoric period to the present day, which provide rich and a new picture of our cultural heritage, as represented by the new permanent exhibition. The first and second floor of the museum were presented three themes: cultural, historical and social development of the area Ilok, wars in the 20th century, and an art gallery and a memorial gallery of notables in the attic will be set ethnographic section. Besides the presentation of the museum exhibits in a new permanent exhibition in the Museum of Ilok, and the building itself is a castle-museum "Odescalchi" - Nicholas Iločkog palace as a historic monument and its immediate environment are the subject of museum presentation and attractiveness. Open to individual and group visits, guided tours, gift shop, access for the disabled, a multimedia hall meetings.
