ISTRIAN MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS
Take along some of the Pula, Istria traditional instruments and a CD with a typical Istrian folk music that will remind you of an unforgettable holiday in Istria.
Instruments known in the Istrian folklore are roženice (sopele, sopile, supiele, Tororo), bagpipes (bellows) and the trunk. Roženica the type of instrument oboe, bagpipe consists of sheep skins, and single or double flute, while šurle two separate wooden pipes connected to the upper end.
