
JANUS PANNONIUS
Croatian and Hungarian humanist, Latin poet, diplomat, bishop of Pécs.
Other names and pseudonyms: Jan Panonac, Janus Pannonius Knight, Jan Pannonia, John Cesmicki. His father died in 1440th year, when he was only six years. After his father's death to care for his upbringing cousin John Knight of Sredna (1405th to 1472nd). Although there are various solutions, previous studies have failed to offer an acceptable solution on the nature of their kinship ties.
