
KRIŽEVCI CITY
Križevci countryside abounds famous structures built during different time periods in which they are now public and cultural institutions.
Križevci is one of the oldest medieval towns in northern Croatian. In written documents, the city was first mentioned in documents of King Béla III of the 1193rd and named Cris (Cross). In the multitude of cultural monuments, Križevci pride themselves on their vision of the eight church towers deployed on the outskirts of the city, around the city, forming a cross. The city and the surrounding area there are many notable buildings made in different time periods in which they are now public and cultural institutions. Križevci and surroundings are attractive area of interesting natural, historical and cultural resources, parks, lakes, traditional huts and vineyards.
