MESTROVIC PAVILION - HAUSE OF CROATIAN ARTISTS
Ivan Mestrovic Pavilion is located in one of the nicest, most interesting and most famous squares - the Victims of Fascism Square. This architectural masterpiece - a work still is known as the 'Mosque'.
Mestrovic Pavilion - rotunda by the 1938th built by Croatian sculptor Ivan Mestrovic international reputation. Such avant-garde project in the first half of the twentieth century was the forerunner of the famous buildings of modern architecture in the world, and even prestigious institutions such as the Guggenheim Museum in New York (1959).. Today it is the Croatian Association of Artists and venue for cultural events.
