MILL ON RIVER MURA - THE CROATIAN NORTHERNOMOST POINT

Milling activity was especially developed in the first half of the twentieth century. It was noted that the river Mura from Lapšina Podturn the twenties of the twentieth century seemed about 90 mills, about 11 of the sixties and the mid eighties and sealed the fate of the last mill which was located at Žabnik in the Municipality of Sveti Martin na Muri.
