
NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM IN RIJEKA
Natural History Museum is the first regional museum in Rijeka area. Based on 16 svibnja 1876th , and is open to the public first svibnja in 1946. year. Located in the Park Host Nicholas, near the Governor's Palace, the family house of Count Negrone.
From its establishment until today at the Museum is working on amendments to the collections and the popularization of science . The museum has 26 collections with about 90,000 museum objects . Arranged as part of the permanent exhibition Sharks and rays creating sets and multimedia presentations ( CD - ROM with photos , images and video sequences ) , set a new permanent exhibition of the Geological History of the Adriatic where the genesis and development of the basin of the Adriatic Sea , and in the ground floor of the Museum edited is part of the permanent exhibition " Aquarium - a multimedia center ." The aquarium is open and workshop - playroom with educational games scientific content . 2004th The permanent exhibitions are open to birds and mammals Rijeka area Reptiles and Amphibians Rijeka area .
