On a lonely place, a few miles from the center of Vukovar, the objects of the former agricultural cooperative Ovcara is located. There is 20 November 1991 killed 200 people, non-Serbs. The wounded civilians and medical staff together from the Vukovar hospital 18th November 1991. was taken to Ovčara. There were massacred, killed by firearms in the same place and their bodies were piled one over the other in the prepared trench and covered with earth.
The monument, unveiled 29th December 1998 the gray obelisk in which the upper part carved Peace Dove writes:
"In memory of the 200 wounded Croatian soldiers and civilians from the Vukovar hospital killed in the Greater Serbian aggression on Croatia."
Here, at the New Cemetery is the largest mass grave in Europe after World War II. World War II. 938 bodies were exhumed at the site is set up 938 white crosses.
