LIGHTHOUSE ON VELI RAT ON DUGI OTOK

The lighthouse on Dugi otok is one of the most beautiful Croatian lighthouses.

The lighthouse was built in 1849th on the southwestern tip of Long Island. It is located 3 km from the village of Veli Rat, Verunic and field, and 20 km to the ferry port in Brbinj. The lighthouse is surrounded by pine forests and coves with sandy beaches, and is considered one of the most beautiful in the Adriatic.

With a 40 m high lighthouse tower offers a unique and unforgettable vistas. The lighthouse can be reached by car. Because of good road links with other neighboring places, a regular supply of food and a tour around Long Island.
