Vladimir Nazor (Postira, May 30, 1876. - Zagreb, 19 June 1949.), Croatian politician during the New Yugoslavia, poet, prose writer and translator. President of ZAVNOH, the first president of Peoples Republic of Croatia. He taught croatian in high school in Zadar.
