Naive Art Gallery was built according to the architectural project Academician Miroslav Begovic 1968th year. The history of the so-called. Hlebine school and Croatian Naive Art begins 1931st when at the instigation of Krsto Hegedušić the exhibition group "Earth" at the Art Pavilion in Zagreb exhibited and peasants painters Ivan Generalić and Franjo Mraz.
The collection galleries located about 500 paintings, drawings and sculptures. Since 1980. in the annex gallery space exposed donation John Generalića (thirty oil on glass), called the museum's collection of Ivan Generalića.
