In the area of VSC operates 51 Angling Association, and manages a total of 4 700 ha of open water (about 380 km of water flow). Only in Croatia masters in two basins: the Sava and the Dunav. The confluence of the Sava River belong Bosut, Berava, Brežnica, Spačva and Studva. In the area of VSC can catch the following fish species: carp, catfish, perch, pike, sturgeon. Indigenous species are: bream, ide, tench, crucian carp true.
Uniqueness in Vukovar County are 'whirlpools'. It is about standing water that receives water from Spačva river and there are all kinds of fresh water fish.
