WINE HOUSE DVANAJŠAK-KOZOL
The Dvanajščak-Kozol family is one of the youngest amongst winegrowers and winemakers in Međimurje. Continuing the tradition set by their parents, from 1990. to 1992. Rajka and Zdravko began planting their first wine crops.
They recieved out certificate of geographical origin in 1996 and have been professional winemakers since then.
.
The family processes vineyards covering almost 8 ha of sunny and elevated areas near the village Dragoslavec, places like Grofovo, Okrugli vrh and Mohokos. Mohokos stands at 344,40 m above sea level and is the highest point of Medjimurje.
Moslavac (Furmint), Graševina (Welschriesling), ranjski Rizling (Rheinriesling), Pinot Blanc and Noir, Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Traminac (Gewurztraminer) are the varieties of grapes that ripen in our vineyards, and after the harvest, in our cellars. We can also boast to being the first in Međimurje to have produced Pinot Noir.
In the nicely furnushed and air-conditioned wine tasting room, along with quality wine, we offer homemade products, hot and cold dishes. With a prior announcement, we organise business and family gatherings and conduct professional wine tastings. At evaluations, on both the local and international levels, our wines regularly recieve high marks and medals.
