ZAMET CAVE
Its true age is estimated at 20000-30000 years.
Zamet cave was first mentioned in biological research of G. Depoli in 1923. Cave's true age is estimated at 20000-30000 years. It appeared in the lime layers that were scrolled and intersected with numerous cracks in tectonic movements .
Because of its beauty in 1981. the cave was pronounced geomorphological natural monument and inscribed in the register of protected nature areas. It is a small cave, just 200 meters long, located very close to downtown and the most important and exciting is that it is, though surrounded by skyscrapers, still "alive", building stalactites, stalagmites and dripstone curtains.
