1. day
We suggest that you start your weekend in the queen of Croatian regions on Ucka, beautiful mountain which separates Istria from Kvarner. On Ucka we arrive bypassing around city of Rijeka and arriving to Veprinac. Upon arrival in Veprinac we suggest walk in this medieval town and photo break on the lookout from which spreads magnificent views of the Kvarner bay. Continue journey  to Poklon pass on approximately 1000 m above sea level. For those looking for a little physical effort we recommend  hike to thesummit of Učka located approximately on 1400 m above sea level. The views are truly indescribable. After descent from Učka we recommend visiting picturesque inland villages and towns, the first in the way is small town Roc located at the beginning of the famous Glagolitic Alley - 7 km long memorial road dedicated to the ancient Croatian script - Glagolitic alphabet, the road leads from Roc to Hum - "the smallest city in the world ". Then we visit one of the symbols of Istria - Motovun , the town of giant Veli Joze, with breathtaking panoramic lookout over the valley of river Mirna and the Motovun forest .
2. day
Second day visit southern Istria. In Fažana board a ship and visit Brijuni National Park - the park sightseeing is conducted with an electric train and on foot, accompanied by professional tour guides. Admire extraordinary flora and fauna, the remains of the ancient Illyrian settlements, Roman villa and Byzantine fortress. Return to Fažana and visit the next station of our weekend plan - Pula. Besides the amphitheater and famous buildings from the Roman period, such as the Temple of Augustus and Hercules gate, we recommend a visit to the Aquarium which is located in the old Austro-Hungarian fortress on the peninsula Verudela - in 11 pools with sea water, placed in the corridors of the fortress is over 55 species of fish and over 90 species of invertebrates.
3. day
Last day of our weekend in Istria we suggest visiting the west coast cities, the first in the way is Rovinj, see: Church of St. Euphemia , city gates, street artists ... Followed by a visit Porec, do not miss a visit to famous Euphrasian Basilica , Square and Canonical Marafor house.
