Tourist Office Višnjan, in cooperation with the Municipality of Višnjan, Višnjan Astronomical Society, Scientific and educational center Visnjan and ITP Porec, is organizing the event under the name Astrofest. The primary objective of the event is the valorization of tradition in the production of quality wines from the area of the Municipality of Višnjan to their specific recognition and value of tradition and the creation of assembly and the period marking the summer solstice, a series of culinary - enological, astronomy - the scientific, and cultural events.

The event allows the creation of new events Visnjan high degree of visibility, which gets a new tourism product that can be placed on the world tourist market, and build brand Višnjan as a tourist destination. Astrofest improve its offer and extend the tourist season, winemakers and producers of local products, enables the development of high quality, well designed, indigenous tourism products, and raise the quality of these presentations.
