BALTAZAR ADAM KRČELIĆ
(Šenkovec, 1715. - Zagreb, 1778.)
Croatian historian, theologian and jurist. He was a clergyman and rector of Zagreb, Croatian College in Vienna.
He wrote in Latin and kajkavski and major works are devoted to the Zagreb church history to the 17th century political history of the Croatian Kingdom and 1564. Krčelićev Yearbook "Annuae or history 1748th to 1767th" valuable source for the history of the period indicated, with lots of information about the situation in Croatia, especially the peasants and krajišničkim bunama.Nakon Vitezović, the most prominent figure of the Croatian cultural life of his time.
