The only currency used in Croatia is the kuna (1 kuna = 100 lipa). There are coins of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 cents and coins of 1, 2, 5 and 25 million and denominations of 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500 and 1000. ATMs are everywhere. Most hotels, restaurants and shops accept credit cards (American Express, Diners Club, Eurocard / Mastercard, Visa) as payment. Foreign currency can be exchanged at banks, exchange offices, post offices, travel agencies, hotels, camps, marinas. Cheques can be cashed at banks.
