GRAČIŠĆE - PIĆAN
"This is a picture at the moment of creation of the world" - these are the words of academician Branko Fucic before he began their historic journey Gračišće. "Image" can be seen from the plateau of St.Vision that provides a view of the entire area of protected landscape Gračišće - Pićan area of 600 hectares. At the site of the present church of St. Vida is probably contained the shrine of the supreme god of the Old Slavonic Perun, and the area of Sopot waterfall, according to legend was the resident god Veles.
“Ovo je slika u trenutku stvaranja svijeta“ - tim je riječima akademik Branko Fučić započinjao svoje povijesno putovanje Gračišćem. “Slika“ se može vidjeti s platoa crkve sv. Vida koji pruža pogled na cijelo područje zaštićenog krajolika Gračišće - Pićan površine oko 600 ha. Na mjestu današnje crkve sv. Vida vjerojatno se nalazilo svetište vrhovnog staroslavenskog boga Peruna, a područje vodopada Sopot bilo je prema legendi prebivalište boga Velesa.
