Folklore Society "Kumpanija" for decades nurtured the traditional dances of Vela Luka, "Mafrina", "Four dogs," "Dance", "Pritilica", "Šega-prank" and particularly attractive sword dance - "Dance of Color", better known as "the Kumpanija. "

"Kumpanija" is specific and is performed exclusively on the island of Korcula and during religious and national holidays. The main annual performance is held each year, 19 March, the feast of St. Joseph, patron of Vela Luka.
Vela Luka is now a place of artists, painters and sculptors, poets and poems.
