
NATURE PARK VRANA LAKE
The largest natural lake in Croatia with the sources of drinking water, one of the rare, almost untouched natural habitat of water birds and the area of specific characteristics and biodiversity is definitely worth a visit.
Between two historically interesting towns, Zadar and Šibenik, lies the phenomenon of nature - a nature park Vrana. The largest natural lake in Croatia and one of the rare, almost untouched natural habitat of water birds, with the sources of drinking water. The park is of 57 km2 and 30.02 km2, most of the waste at Lake Vrana. According to its location and characteristics of the natural park and Vrana are specific and not only in Croatia but also in the wider European area. Park is included in the list of important ornithological areas in Europe (Important Bird Areas in Europe).
