OBSERVATORY IN MONTE ZARO PARK, PULA
Observatory in Pula is based in 1869th year and is the oldest observatory in Croatia.
On the one of the most beautiful spots in Pula, in Monte Zaro Park there is an Observatory which offers not just view at the sky and stars but also view to the city center of Pula and the Gulf. Observatory in Pula is based in1869th as a part of the Imperial and Royal Navy Hydrographic Bureau (K and K Hidrographisches Amt) and is the oldest observatory in Croatia, form which was discovered 28 planetoid, three of which are called "Polana", "Adria" and "Istria" .
