Legendfest Festival happens in Istria, so far in five years in Pican, last year in Novigrad, and this year the festival will be open in Buje. Legends, myths and stories of Istria is showing visitors through different types of art and display the multimedia and interactive joint space, time and style.

For the Festival, Old Town Pican dressed in traditional Istrian fabrics, residents in the Istrian folk costumes, visitors can taste the flavor of good wine, there are visuals and sounds of Istrian Glagolitic melodies. Typically walking giants, witches, krsniks, vampires, malic pirates, fairies, Venetians, emperors, bishops.Each space, empty house, lawn or square are filled with artistic events such as the poets who recited,storytellers, skits and plays on myths legends and stories of Istria, musical numbers ....
The main performances are taking place on stage (Trnoplesarski square) in the open.

The festival is particularly attractive to children and visitors who may be involved in workshops and participate in the performance of the play jointly prepared with the assistance of professional managers. These workshops take place all day.
The Festival is best described as a family festival for the programs and facilities designed for the whole family and all ages can have fun, learn and enjoy the beauty of Pićan and artistic events.
