Rigo Gallery continuously operating since the 1995th year and in 2006. Became an organizational unit of the then newly founded Museum Lapidarium (to the 2006th part of Novigrad the Open University).

Program guidelines include various art galleries, cultural and sociological projects both at the national and international basis. The program consists of exhibitions Croatian and international artists, performances by renowned artists and cultural workers, and publishing projects. As a continuation of the basic concept of the Novigrad galleries promote various art media, presenting renowned artists, young writers, but also interesting phenomena and chapters in Croatian / world of modern and contemporary art history. At the Museum Lapidarium kept the same name and a very valuable art collection of domestic and foreign authors.
