Village girls dressed up as kings and queens gather at Mass after which they dance round in front of the church with a tamburitza. From the churchyard and then moving in a procession around the village and visit the homes of residents who have expressed their desire to visit them. Ljelje the village spread good cheer, laughter and song. Usually they are accompanied by one player - piper and two male beggar. Comparing today ljeljas the photographs with those of the early 20th century, it may be noted that the present edition of this custom is not significantly different from its origins.
