NATURAL RESERVE GAJNA

Protected landscape enriched wetland flora and fauna.

This typical Slavonian improved pasture wetland flora and fauna, which has the status of a protected landscape, located east of the Slavonian Brod, near the village and Oprisavci Poljanci. The Gajna is more alluvial depressions in which the spring-autumn flood water reserves and thus restore aquatic wildlife ponds, which enhances the technical existence of lateral channel Gajna cuts in the western part of the water drips onto Dilj mount sinks into the Sava and the Bare Gajne.S considering that almost always indicates a negative anthropogenic activities in nature, we can safely say that Gajna represents a unique example in Croatia, where a man with beneficial effect of a healthy water livestock on pasture, allowed the development of plant and animal life.
