Karlovac County is located in central Croatia and covers an area of 3,622 km2 and is one of the larger counties in the Republic of Croatia. Administrative, political, economic, cultural and sport center of the county is town Karlovac. In Karlovac County live 141,787 inhabitants (according to the census of 2001.), and the county includes five cities and 17 municipalities.
