LUKAS CAVE - TROJAMA

The deepest cave in Croatia and ninth in the world.

Is 1392 m deep and is located in the Rozanski hips in northern Velebit. The deepest cave in Croatia and ninth in the world. Its entrance is at 1436 m n.m. and reached the bottom of a 81 m n.m. Slovak climbers, cavers found and explored the 1994th year. At the bottom of the pit was found entirely new endemic species of leeches called Croatobranchus mestrovi.
