In the early 20th century, a Cross trail was built from the foot to the top of the hill with 14 chapels, each of which denotes a single station of the Cross trail. The church was twice destroyed and rebuilt - in the second World War II and in the Homeland war, and the current layout is the work of Nikola Basic - Zadar architect. From the top of the hill spreads breathtaking panoramic view of town of Vodice, and one can see all the way to the Kornati Islands and to the Vis island.
