The cave is located on the southern slopes of the island, near the village of Humac. This cave is one of the oldest sites of civilization and culture in the Adriatic. It is 21 meters long and 32 meters wide and is located on 239 meters above sea level. It contains the remains of Hvar culture and civilization, which originates from four and five thousand years before Christ. It was researched by Croatian historian and archaeologist Grga Novak. In 1964. cave was declared a protected monument of nature. It is available to tourists and visitors.
