It is located in the baroque city palace from the 17th and 18 century. In the permanent collection of paintings by old masters from the 15th to 19 century, mostly Italian artists (Mark Ricci, a circle of Giovanni Bellini) and German painters (GFWaldmuller), wooden polychromatic sculptures from the same period and smaller statues of the International Gothic style mature. A collection of paintings and sculptures of modern Croatian art (especially donations Vilko Shafer) and Rovinj's art circle. Austro-Hungarian Navy ships painter A. Kircher in the ground.
