The first recorded rowing competition on the lake akomulacijskom Sabljaci held in 1962. The participants were rowers from Karlovac, Zagreb and Rijeka, organized by the Faculty of Physical Education.
Full profile rowing 2000 meters track section was obtained by digging 2003rd year, which provides for regular competition.
