Sovsko lake is situated at an altitude of 430 m southwest of the village of Dol Sovski and only true lake in Požega valley. It is assumed that the rest of the Pannonian Sea, but the lake has its own source of water as a result of geomorphologic activity in the past. Around him lie the wooded mounds, which are at a higher altitude of the lake. The lake has never dried up, its surface is about 3500 m2, but it oscillates. The environment around the lake abounds in medicinal herbs and plants. Although no clear lake, "blue" color, but dark in the middle of the black beauty is that it is always peaceful.
Only here and there are zamreška water small fish which abounds in the lake. It is a nesting waterfowl in the lake and around live frogs, grass snakes and pond turtles, and fish of the carp. The bottom of the lake is covered with mud nasklagama. The depth of the lake is not exactly defined, some studies have shown that the deep 14-44 feet.
