Ideas for weekend

The entire area is geographically situated in a very attractive position, which includes the lowland and hilly parts, and is located west of Zagreb, the Sava and Samobor hills.
History:
The first recorded mention of Sveta Nedelja parish is still 1,501th year, although there are some indications that the first recorded mention of the 1334th year. From historical landmarks and sites worth mentioning: the parish church of Holy Trinity in Holy Nedelja, the parish church of Blessed Aloysius Stepinac in Novak, the parish church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross in Kerestinec, Chapel of St. Roch in the Holy Nedelja, Chapel St. Mary Magdalene in Mala Gorica, in the chapel of St. Andrew Novak, the chapel of St. Nicholas in Strmec, Erdödy Castle in Kerestinec, family manor in Turok Rakitje manor in Brezje, Old Church House "Crkvenjak" in the Holy Nedelja, archaeological site in Herešinec Jagnjic Do. The most important finding from arheloškog Herešinec sites in the monument Jagnjic Dol Pontius (from the 3rd century), found at the end of the last century. It is assumed that the remains belong to the settlement that formed around the main street of Roman Pannonia, Emona-Siscia. It is also worth mentioning the finding of fossils on Svetonedeljska Hill (Lackovic Breg), where researchers in the marl limestone and slate have found many fossils of fish, shellfish and plants.
