
BERMET
Bermet is especially noble alcoholic beverage made from selected grapes from the sunny slopes of hills Samoborsko, wormwood, citrus fruits (carob, fig, ...) and aromatic substances of vegetable origin, which give a specific flavor.
Bermet is ruby red in color, with an alcohol content 15-18 vol%, has a rich and noble aroma and a pronounced bitterness that gives absinthe.
It has occupied the old aperitif or digestif whose preparation was long a mystery that is transmitted from generation to generation for nearly 200 years. Bermet is still a handmade product.
Long been thought to be responsible for preparing Bermet Frenchmen, who were in the early 19th Samobor century, and which are now known Samobor brought Samobor Mustard. Subsequently it was found that in France there is a similar drink, and that Bermet in Samobor started to produce pharmacists and occupied the residence before the French.
