Passengers and guests in Zagreb will leave the station to meet with one of the most beautiful vistas of Zagreb, a monument to King Tomislav, art pavilion, bell towers of the Cathedral and the green slopes of Medvednica. King Tomislav (pronounced [tǒmislaʋ]; died 928) was a ruler of Croatia in the Middle Ages. He reigned from 910 until 928, first as Duke (dux Croatorum) of Dalmatian Croatia in 910–925, and then became first King (rex Croatorum) of the Croatian Kingdom in 925–928.

Some of Zagreb's guests were the passengers of the train Orient Express. Because of them was built near the main railway station and the Esplanade in which many distinguished guests stayed and held interesting social events. The Hotel Esplanade is held the first Miss1926th year. The winner, Miss Stefica Vidacic, the next year in Berlin crowned Miss Europe.
