Church of Mother of God Remete located in urban areas disrupted in the northern part of the city,
and also a Marian shrine. The first written record of the existence of religious communities and churches dedicated to the Mother of God
originated from in 1288. It was built on the site that had not been settled, and there are monks gathered
(eremiti Remete hence the name). Sanctuary was administered Paulines. In the 16th century shrine were devastated by the Turks who are remaining
Paulines taken and killed in Vugrovec. The church was later rebuilt and used by the 1812th as a parish church for the village
north of Zagreb. 1880th The church was devastated by the great earthquake and was rebuilt under the supervision of Hermann Bolle 1882nd,
largely thanks to funds provided by the, as patron of the parish, Archbishop Joseph Mihalović.
