This cultural and historical monument of highest category is an integral part of the town of Rijeka. Trsat Castle is registered in the List of protected monuments of Croatian cultural heritage (NN 151/02). Castle is located on 138 meters high hill above the city of Rijeka and Rječina river canyon, providing breathtaking views of the Kvarner bay.
