BLESSED MARY OF JESUS CRUCIFIED PETKOVIC
Blessed Mary of Jesus Crucified Petkovic was born in Blato in 1892 and died in Rome in 1966.
She is the founder of the Congregation of Franciscan Sisters of the Society of Daughters of Charity, which operates on three continents and twelve countries. Mortal remains of Blessed are transferred in 1998. from Rome to the home village Blato. Pope John Paul II. in 2003. in Dubrovnik declared her Blessed.
