He was educated in Dubrovnik, where he, among others, the teachers were Tuscan Camillo Camilli, which is supplemented Tasso's Jerusalem Delivered, and incendiary priest Peter, who was translated into Croatian life of Charles Borromeo. After graduation, 1608th becomes a member of the Council. Since he died on 49th year, he had no chance to be elected Rector of the Dubrovnik Republic (the prince was not allowed to be younger than 50 years).
