FORT SOARDO BEMBO, BALE - ISTRIA
Soardo Bembo castle is today the largest building in Bale. It was created by two rectangular defensive towers. At the turn of the 14th to the 15th century between the two towers (previously connected by a bridge) was built in a residential part of the palace decorated with Gothic quadriphore.
The highest building in Bale Soardo-Bembo for the beauty of the recently restored Gothic-Renaissance facade attracts the attention of all who stop by in the city. Fortified Castle Soardo family in the 15th century changed the purpose and became a place of residence. In the 16th century the castle owners become members of the family Bembo which it organizes social events.
