
SALTERN PARK NIN
Nin salt is among the finest salts in Europe with a high percentage of iodine, and it is interesting that a saltern has organized the Saltern Park which opened its doors to visitors and tourists several years ago.
Fields Nin salt pans natural habitat of diverse flora and fauna that inspire many visitors, especially attract attention birdwatcher - birdwatcher. Ornithological variety of fields around the basin is home to over 280 species of birds, mostly migratory birds that fly over this part of the Adriatic Sea on its long overflights to wintering grounds, particularly in Africa and in the Mediterranean, and in a small number of two rare and endangered species in the salt pans and nesting.
In the park you can see the salt pans Nin interesting plant species that have adapted to the specific conditions of the wetland area. The plant covers saltmarshes our pools for evaporation, and is known as the herb of which receive pink flamingos. There is just a sea of black heeling from which directly absorbs minerals and is very healthy and tasty.
