
TEHNICAL MUSEUM
Founded on the model of existing scientific and technical museums in the world, Zagreb Technical Museum is the common type, it is a complex museum of science and technology as opposed to the specialized technical museums covering a particular area of technology.
The idea of establishing such a museum dates back to the late twentieth century, and one time there existed Trades & Crafts Museum. The real history of the Technical Museum begins 1954th when the decision on its establishment, and the 1959th Museum was granted its present location at 18th Savska The creator of The Museum was a university professor Dr. Bozo Tezak, later a longtime president of the Council of the Museum, and the producer of the first director was Predrag Grdenić. Visual display was the architect Emil Vicic.
