Ideas for weekend

The collection of the Archaeological Museum, in the Dubrovnik Museum, there was extensive donations of today mostly strangers. In Dubrovnik Egyptian collections of objects are probably due during the nineteenth. century. The only known collection of donors are Kuraica Tonko, Ivo Nordea and brothers Francis (Dubrovnik 1821st -?) And Nicholas (Dubrovnik 1823rd - Vienna 1892). Amerling who probably gave the highest number of cases.  Most cases originate from the late, ptolemejskog and Roman periods. It is impossible to identify sites from which the objects originated. Research Igor Uranic indentificirala are 164 authentic objects and 31 falsum. In one case it was found to originate from Etruria (Inv. 3809). Only in three cases can be determined arrival time to the museum and their donors. The archival records show that the museum is a family Amerling 1872nd The donated a large collection, and since the brothers Amerling often stayed in Egypt can be assumed that they were the most likely donors of items. Archival records also state that has a larger collection donated Ivo Nordea that the inventory of the collection is not stated as a direct donor.
